Innovative functionalities in Applify FlowSuite version 5.7


Questions from the market and the ongoing striving towards renewing its products resulted into the release of Applify FlowSuite to version 5.7 of the Applify software. For the application FlowSuite the new version means a lot of innovative and user-friendly functionalities. In the licence agreement, which customers conclude with Applify.com, updates of software are included. Users of FlowSuite already moved to the new version and enjoy the extra possibilities.

Links
Component of the new release is a link with the pricelists of Proost & Brandt, Velpa and Bührmann Ubbens. Because of this FlowSuite users can receive the complete assortment and its own appointments with called paper suppliers electronically and read this information into the FlowSuite database. The calculation module has been extended with a real-time calculator. Now it is possible to see detailed calculation results during introduction of a tender or an order. It is also possible to set up pick-lists of frequently used text-lines.
The tender- and invoice module has also been extended. Tenders can be developed in several alternatives where calculated amounts can be overruled manually to reach fixed prices. New invoice overviews and new order pocket layouts have been added. Accompaniment of production becomes easier because registration of hours has been developed.

Link SAP SRM
A lot of graphic companies already have a workflow application but search for possibilities to make their customers online part of this workflow. For that reason Applify created the possibility to link FlowOnline with several applications through which customer data, orders and information can be exchanged automatically. A link with SAP SRM makes it possible to incorporate the FlowOnline Internet site of the graphic company in the purchase surroundings of the customer. So the customer can place orders directly from the purchase system in the system of the graphic company.

Macintosh
The online payment module has been extended with support for PCard/level 3 information. Now it is possible to sent invoice information together with the online payment to the bank. The payment can be processed directly in the book keeping system of the customer.
FlowPDF automates and standardizes the processing of supplied files. In the field of creation the development goes in the direction of the Macintosh users. FlowPDF is extended with a hotfolder stabilizer for receiving files from the Macintosh surroundings.
Security of FlowSuite is an ongoing process and in version 5.7 development took place with some cross site scripting improvements.

New modules
In version 5.7 FlowSuite is extended with the module FlowOnline Assetmanager. This module manages the content of documents and offers documentmanagement solutions. In line with this extension Applify developed the new application Applify Documentmanager. For organisations which have much to do with internal and external communications house style management is very important. With Applify Documentmanager your house style is always well applied.
With this application it is also possible to publish content in chapters in accordance with a publication workflow through which it is possible to compose books on the basis of chapters taking into account version management and several authorisation levels. The integration with Microsoft Word has been further developed and the automatic conversion to PDF has been added.

User-friendly
Also the user-friendliness of the application has improved in version 5.7. By means of colour coding a more clear overview arises in the workflow lists and help-texts have been built in the software through which these texts can be retrieved faster. The support for Firefox and Macintosh computers has been improved further.
